Estrada and Martinez named Students of the Month

FALLBROOK – Potter Junior High students Alejandro Estrada, eigth grade, and Jennifer Martinez, seventh grade, were introduced at a Rotary Club of Fallbrook luncheon as “Fairness” Students of the Month by Potter Principal Dr. Tere Petersen, herself a Rotarian in the Fallbrook Village Club.

Of Estrada, Petersen said, “He can be counted on to do the fair and right thing all the time. He will make sure that all people are included and have an equal opportunity in class.”

Of Martinez, Dr. Petersen said, “She always displays excellent citizenship and is a model for other students to follow. She treats all of her classmates with respect and is a leader among her peers.”

Laine Allyn, youth director for the Rotary Club of Fallbrook, presented each student with a certificate of achievement. The Student of the Month program is an ongoing part of the Rotary Club of Fallbrook’s endeavors to promote and reward excellence and achievement in the Fallbrook school system.
