Free benefit concert to help rescued girls

FALLBROOK – Christ the King Lutheran Church is hosting a “Courage 2B You” (C2BU) musical concert on Saturday, March 20 at 6 p.m. to bring awareness to a tragic situation in this country in which children are being sold for sex.

Despite dealing with a difficult topic, the concert is full of hope and will appeal to a wide variety of ages. The song “Believe in Me” has been turned into a music video that tells the story of a child who gets caught up in the world of sex trafficking.

The music video and a CD will be available together for a donation of $20, and 100 percent of the proceeds go toward building Courage House, a home for young girls rescued from sex trafficking in Northern California as well as in Tanzania, Africa.

That night, the FBI will present statistics and detail the scope of this hideous crime in the local area, a personal story will be shared from a mom whose daughter was trafficked in Northern California and the C2BU founder will detail the dream to build Courage House.

A freewill offering will be taken to help purchase property in Sacramento for the first Courage House in the U.S. For more information, go to

http://www.C2BU.org.
