After school students create three-dimensional art

FALLBROOK – Students in the San Diego County Parks and Recreation Fallbrook Community Center after school program at La Paloma Elementary School recently completed a series of art lessons presented by Abrakadoodle Art Education.

San Diego County Parks and Recreation at La Paloma partners with a number of organizations to provide exceptionally high quality programming for students who attend the after school program, and has been working with Abrakadoodle for the past three years to offer a variety of art programs.

This most recent series of art lessons focused on three-dimensional design and sculpture. In addition to masks, students built sculptures inspired by Claes Oldenburg, designed “glass” pieces inspired by Chihuly, and designed colorful patterned mosaics.
