Kindergarten Roundup at the FUESD set for April 23

FALLBROOK – All incoming Kindergarten students and parents for the 2010-2011 school year are invited to attend an informational get together scheduled for Friday, April 23 beginning at 9 a.m., at all in-town Fallbrook Union Elementary School District’s sites.

A tour of the school will be given and the principal will be available to answer any questions. If parents are unsure of what school their child will attend, they can check the boundary map posted at http://www.fuesd.k12.ca.us or call (760) 731-5414 for assistance.

Registration packets will be available at each school site. To be eligible for kindergarten, students must be 5 years old on or before December 2, 2010. In order to register a child for kindergarten parents must have the following documentation: birth certificate, baptismal certificate, or passport; proof of residency (utility bill, driver’s license, rental agreement, escrow papers); vaccinations, including polio (four doses at any age or three doses if one dose was given on or after the child’s fourth birthday), DTP (five doses at any age or four doses if one dose was given on or after the child’s fourth birthday), MMR (two doses, must have one dose given on or after first birthday), hepatitis B (three doses), and Varicella chickenpox (one dose).
