Local students honored at UC Santa Barbara

SANTA BARBARA – Undergraduate students at the University of California, Santa Barbara achieving excellence in their academic work during the winter quarter have been selected for the Dean’s Honors List.

Local students named to the Dean’s List are Ryan Helling, a mechanical engineering major; Sarah Lamont, an English major; Matthew Majdick, a Psychology/Communication major; Christy Mason, a history major; and Stephen Roalf, an environmental studies major, all from Fallbrook.

This honor which is noted on their permanent records, is earned by students who have attained the qualifying grade point average of 3.75 (A-minus) on a program of 12 or more graded units in the College of Letters and Science, or 3.50 in the College of Engineering.
