Charitable grant awards highlight of Fallbrook Rotary Meeting

FALLBROOK – Four more checks were awarded to community charitable organizations at a recent weekly meeting of the Rotary Club of Fallbrook.

Proceeds from the club’s annual fundraiser Lobster on the Green, scheduled for Friday September 10 this year, went to: Randy Mears, $1,000 for the Think First program; Clark Kiser, $1,000 for North Inland Community Prevention Program - Mental Health Systems; Mike Crain, $1,000 for North County CERT; and Pat Braendel, $800 for Fallbrook Citizen’s Crime Prevention Committee.

Rotarian Doug Clements made the introductions and Rotarians Joe Fedorchak and Greg Munro presented the representatives from the organizations with their checks. All three Rotarians were heavily involved in the 2009 Lobster event.
