Dallas inter-faith choir members to be housed here for performances

FALLBROOK – The members of the “Evening Song” Interfaith Choir from Dallas/Fort Worth will be staying in the homes of volunteers from Fallbrook and Vista while they perform two free concerts. The concerts will be performed on Friday, June 11 at 7 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Stake Center at 451 West Bobier Dr., Vista, Calif., 92083.

The second free concert will be at 7 p.m. on Monday, June 14, at the Church of St. Mary Magdalene, a Roman Catholic Diocese located at 1945 Illion St. San Diego, Calif., 92110.

The choir will also be performing two songs at Sacrament Meeting for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Fallbrook 1st Ward on Sunday, June 13 at 10:20 a.m. at 621 Stagecoach Lane in Fallbrook, CA. 92028.

That evening there will be a Fireside at 7 p.m. in the Vista Stake Center. The Sunday June 13 Fireside will be conducted by David Featherstone, the artistic director for the choir. The Fireside will be an audience participation study of the LDS Hymnal. Featherstone and the choir will take the audience on a trip through the hymnal to explain the different kinds, times, and expressions of music.
