Swim lessons begin June 21

The annual Summer swim lessons at the Fallbrook High School pool

will begin on Monday, June 21.

The first one-week sessions will take place June 21-25 and the lessons will run through August 13. Signups will take place at the pool on June 5, June 12, and June 13 between 9:00 a.m. and noon and on June 19 and June 20 from noon to 4:00 p.m.

Parents or participants can also sign up and pay on the first day of each class, and on June 19 and June 20 the pool will be open for recreational swimming.

Sean Redmond, the coach of the Fallbrook High School varsity girls swim team and also the coaching director of the Fallbrook Associated Swim Team, will be the head instructor. Various current and former members of Redmond’s swimming programs will

serve as assistants.

The lessons will cover various age groups and skill levels. Ten different levels of instruction based on ability will be offered. The summer lessons will also offer diving classes.

Each day’s lessons will last for approximately 40 minutes.

Participants are responsible for bringing their own bathing suits and towels. The cost for each session is $40.
