Toppin awarded scholarship by SCA Americas

PENNSYLVANIA – A student from Fallbrook was recently awarded $2,500 by SCA Americas – a global hygiene and paper company – as a part of their scholarship program. A total of 42 high school seniors and college students from the U.S. and Canada received a combined total of $62,000 in scholarships ranging from $500 to $2,500 toward their full-time college education.

The recipient from Fallbrook, Jordan Toppin, is currently attending Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.

“SCA Americas is thrilled to assist these talented children of our employees to help them reach higher and achieve their educational goals,” said John O’Rourke, vice president of Human Resources for SCA Americas. “These students demonstrated how deeply committed they are to their schools and communities, and are truly deserving of this scholarship award.”

Since its inception three years ago, the program has been open to all high school seniors and college students, age 24 and younger, whose parents have been employed by SCA Americas for more than one year.
