Martinez, Pratt named FUHS Employees of the Month

FALLBROOK – Fallbrook Union High School District Superintendent Dale Mitchell presented Steve Martinez and Jon Pratt as Employees of the Month to the Rotary club of Fallbrook at their Thursday weekly meeting.

Of Martinez, Superintendent Mitchell said, “He is more than a teacher in the math department. He helps place students in the correct math courses, and he and his department create a structured and positive environment for the FHS students, thus helping to insure proper progress in meeting both FHS graduation requirements and the skills to assist students with the CAHSEE.”

Mitchell said of Pratt, “As a classified employee he not only is a great guy, but is helpful on a daily basis, and especially in a crisis mode. Jon can trouble shoot problems and assist in the implementation of new programs.”

Club Rotarian John Halberstat presented Certificates of Merit to the two honorees. The Employee of the Month program is part of the ongoing effort by Fallbrook Rotary to achieve, maintain and reward excellence in the employees of the Fallbrook school system.
