School vacation day camp is 'Wild about Nature'

FALLBROOK – There will be no bored kids at the Fallbrook Community Center this Thanksgiving vacation. For boys and girls ages 5 to 12, day camp is in session Nov. 22 through 24. Each day is planned to include sports, games, arts & crafts, movies and much more. The kids will discover the outside world with activities like “A Bug’s Life,” nature walks, rock pets, tie dye painting, and picture frame painting.

Kids need to bring a morning snack, sack lunch and lunch. They should be sure to wear comfortable washable play clothes. Day camp meets from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the North Room at the Community Center. College trained staff provide leadership at a ratio of 1 to 12. Camp size is limited; participants are encouraged to register in advance.
