Retired teacher is recognized for volunteer services

FALLBROOK – California Retired Teachers Association (CalRTA) member Sherry Ludwig has recently been appointed as Trustee to the Fallbrook Union High School District Board of Education.

Ludwig is actively involved as Legislative Chair on the local board of CalRTA Fallbrook Avocado Division 81. She is also International Advocacy co-Chair and serves as co-President of the Fallbrook branch of American Association of University Women California (AAUWCA) in addition to serving a third term on the Board of Directors of AAUWCA.

In the past eight months, Ludwig has volunteered over 600 hours of service to the Fallbrook community, while continuing to work as a part-time instructor at Palomar College and Central Texas College Camp Pendleton.

CalRTA Fallbrook Division 81 recognizes Sherry Ludwig as one who takes the time to make a difference.
