Christ The King Lutheran to present Islamic seminar

FALLBROOK – On Saturday, June 11, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Christ the King Lutheran Church, located at 1620 South Stage Coach Lane, will host, “The Challenge of Islam,” a seminar on the religion of Islam and how Christians should relate to Muslims.

Dr. Adam Francisco, Associate Professor of History at Concordia University, Irvine will present the seminar. Dr. Francisco obtained his DPhil degree from the University of Oxford in the field of Christian-Muslim relations. He is the author of “Martin Luther and Islam” and is currently working on an Islamic history and theology primer.

The community is invited to attend this informative seminar, which is very pertinent, considering the current world situation.

A continental breakfast will be served at 8:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall and Dr. Francisco will speak from 9:00 to 12:00, including a question and answer period.

The event is offered free of charge, but an offering will be taken.
