Avocado Festival logo contest open to all

FALLBROOK – For the first time in many years, the Fallbrook Chamber of Commerce will open up the official Avocado Festival logo design to the general public. Artists are encouraged to enter for the possibility of having their design chosen as the graphic for the 2012 Avocado Festival poster and the design will also be used on the 2012 festival t-shirt.

There are a few rules. All artwork submitted must be original art. All artwork becomes the exclusive property of the Fallbrook Chamber of Commerce and avocados must be central in the design. Verbiage must include “26th Annual Fallbrook Avocado Festival” and the festival website:

http://www.FallbrookChamberOfCommerce.org.

More than one design may be submitted. Details and specs can also be found on the Chamber website. The contest Deadline is Nov. 1.

Last year’s outstanding “crate label” poster was designed by Sean Olson, from Jim’s Sign Shop in Fallbrook.
