Juveniles sought in liquor store burglary

Sheriff’s detectives are seeking three juveniles who allegedly smashed the front glass door of a liquor store in Fallbrook.

According to Detective Dan Laibach, three suspects broke into a liquor store located at the 1500 block of S. Mission Road on Sept. 9 at approximately 3:30 a.m.

“The male suspect in the red shirt put on a female’s Chargers hooded sweatshirt and made entry into the store,” said Laibach. “Once inside, he took cigarettes and bottles of alcohol before running away on foot with the other two suspects carrying the stolen items.”

According to the Sheriff’s report, the all suspects were white juveniles. Laibach stated that the fact the suspects damaged property is “pretty bold.”

“Usually, it’s open business beer runs,” he said.

The first suspect is believed to be 14 to 16 years old. The second suspect is believed to be 15 to 17 years old. He is described with brown hair, and was wearing red t-shirt having cutoff sleeves dark shorts just below the knees. The third suspect is believed to be a female aged 15 to 17 years old, with blonde hair in a ponytail. She was wearing a white Chargers hooded sweatshirt, black running shorts and gray tank top.

Individuals with further information regarding the burglary are asked to please contact Detective Dan Laibach at (760) 451-3110.
