Caring 4 Kids hosts annual Charity Motorcycle Ride

LAKE ELSINORE “ The Caring 4 Kids organization will host its seventh annual Charity Motorcycle Ride on Saturday, Oct. 1. The event will benefit several Lake Elsinore charities. The event begins with breakfast at 8 a.m. at the VFW Post in Lake Elsinore. The three hour ride will travel through scenic areas of North San Diego County and end at Live Oak Park in Fallbrook around noon. Lunch and a raffle will also be part of the festivities.

Riders are asked to contribute $40 per bike (includes passenger), and will receive a t-shirt, food, and raffle entries for their donation. The first 80 riders will also receive an event pin.

The Caring 4 Kids organization was formed by employees of the Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District eight years ago as a way to give back to the needy in the community where they work.

In the past, Caring 4 Kids has helped Cops for Kids, Boys & Girls Club, Help Our People of Elsinore (HOPE), Community Connections, Student and Family Essential Resources (SAFER), Oak Grove School, various summer camps, families affected by cancer and families who have lost a parent in the Armed Forces.
