National Charity League welcomes new members

FALLBROOK - On Aug. 23, Kristen Hughes welcomed new members at an evening designed to share information about the activities and responsibilities of being involved in the upcoming year with the San Luis Rey Chapter of National Charity League (NCL). The event included a barbecue dinner served by NCL board members.

NCL is a non-profit organization which serves Fallbrook, as well as parts of the Vista and Oceanside communities. The philanthropic group fosters the mother-daughter (7th through 12th grade) relationship by arranging for them to volunteer their time to assist with local charitable organizations such as the Angel Shop, Fallbrook Senior Center, Fallbrook Community Center, Fallbrook Food Pantry, Fallbrook Skilled Nursing Facility, Fallbrook Child Development Center, and the Women's Resource Center in Oceanside, among others.
