First Baptist Church announces Koole as new pastor

FALLBROOK – Fallbrook First Baptist Church has announced its new pastor, Dr. Richard (Rick) Koole will begin serving the congregation on Sunday, Sept. 8.

Koole is currently is the senior pastor of the dynamic and growing congregation of Chapel Pointe of Hudsonville, Michigan and has been since January of 1997. He said he finds no greater joy than taking the timeless truths of the Bible and applying them in an easy-to-understand manner to the challenges faced by both students and adults on a daily basis.

Koole also served effectively in the Southern California culture as the senior pastor of Tri-City Church in Vista, California where they saw growth in many ways, spiritually and numerically. He has a personal understanding of the challenges faced by the men and women involved in Christian education, having served as vice president of The Master’s College as well as superintendent of Tri-City Christian Schools of Vista, California and NorthPointe Christian Schools of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Koole and his wife, Carolyn, have been blessed with five children.

He is a graduate of Cornerstone University and, after attending the Grand Rapids Baptist Seminary, went on to receive a masters and then a doctorate in education from Western Michigan University. Dr. Koole is committed to taking the truths from God’s Word to develop principles that affect our daily lives.

Fallbrook First Baptist invites community members to join them at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 8 to hear his message and meet him in person.
