Foundation for Senior Care offers popular computer classes online

FALLBROOK – The Foundation for Senior Care is offering their computer classes online with Zoom. As a support to older adults during the COVID-19 crisis, the Foundation for Senior Care is waiving the cost for these computer classes; however, donations are appreciated.

How to use Zoom

This class begins May 14, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. with instructor Bob Cebulski. It will cover how to use Zoom, including the controls on each device, including desktop computer, laptop, tablet or phone.

iPhone/iPad Class

This class will be held twice, May 20 and 27, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. with instructors Bob Cebulski and Len Tevebaugh. It will cover iPhone basics and communicating with family and friends through the phone, email and messaging. In addition, Safari, contacts, maps and calendar will be covered. The camera and the photo app section will cover taking and editing photos, camera formats and functions, and saving and sharing photos with iCloud. The built-in functionality of the iPhone, including iCloud drive, the files app, keychain and iCloud photo storage. It will also cover the control center, notifications, Air Drop, Find MY – Find my Friends and Find My iPhone, protecting your iPhone/iPad in case of loss and theft and emergency S.O.S.

More dates and classes will come. Although classes are being offered at no charge, donations are what keep the programs running, and residents are asked to consider donating their class fee.
