Gordon Raver

Gordon Raver went to be with Jesus on December 15, 2016 in the company of his loving family. He was born in Baltimore, Md., March 6, 1931.

Gordon served four years in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict aboard the USS Bataan CVL 29 and at Moffett Field, Mountain View, Calif.

His career as an aeronautical design engineer included work in the Space Division of North American Aviation on the Apollo and Space Shuttle programs.

He was a loving husband, father and friend. He is survived by his wife, Deb; his sons Bill and Jim; daughter Corinne, and three grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at Christ the King Lutheran Church on January 21 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, we encourage you to donate to your favorite charity or the Rotary Club of Fallbrook.
