On Sunday, August 4, at 6:11 pm, a call of an apartment fire was called in and responded to by North County Fire Protection District (NCFPD). The call came in from the 1200 block of Alturas Rd in Fallbrook. NCFPD PIO Capt. Choi said, "Three individuals were assessed and released." At 12:53 pm today, Feb 22, there was a Suspicious circumstance call that came into the Sheriff's department. A couple of tarps were lying in the field at the corner of S. Mission. It appeared there may be a body under on of the tarps and, indeed, there was a man who was homeless from out of town, according to people on the scene. He appeared to be ok. He was waiting to be able to use his voucher to stay in the hotel. He was checked out and released.... Full story
At 7:25 am this morning, an accident occurred between a motorcyclist and a person driving a red SUV on E. Mission near Orange Ave. According to NCFPD PIO John Choi said that the motorcyclist sustained injuries to his leg and was transported to Inland Valley Hospital with moderate injuries.... Full story
One male motorcycle rider was transported with mild injuries to Palomar Hospital, according to NCFPD PIO Rich Berry. A motorcyclist was down in what appeared to be a single-vehicle accident at Reche and Gird Rd at 4:25 pm tonight (Sunday). CHP reports indicated that he slid and the bike came to rest near the dog park. The rider was sitting up and being attended to by North County Fire personnel.
