    At the August Senior Challenge Cribbage match, the Oceanside Senior Center team defeated the Fallbrook team by three game points. Oceanside had 74 wins and six skunks to Fallbrook’s 73 wins and five skunks. In the July match, the teams each had the same number of wins (74 and 73) but Fallbrook had 11 skunks to Oceanside’s seven for a two-game-point win.     PALA — On September 8 the Pala Band of Mission Indians announced that they have given $140,000 to the Bonsall Union School District for the 2008-2009 school year. The money will be used to pay for an assistant principal, bus driver and counselor positions, as well as implement the Compass Learning/MAP Testing curriculum and a Thin Client Network at Vivian Banks Charter School in Bonsall. A goal by Lauren Hughey with an assist by Kyle Little took place with a minute left in the first half of the Vista game to constitute the only scoring. “Pretty strong game.     Brian Burrows is now 20 years old, so this is his last year competing at junior-level trap shooting.
