Mrs. Lucille Fuerte, 91,

Mrs. Lucille Fuerte, 91, passed away on March 13, 2005. She was born on April 11, 1913, in Brooklyn, NY. Mrs. Fuerte resided in Fallbrook, CA, for two years.

Mrs. Fuerte retired after working as a seamstress for M.J. Cook, West Los Angeles, and other home decorating companies for 35 years. She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Community and a previous member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Culver City, CA. She enjoyed bowling, crocheting, and cooking.

Mrs. Fuerte was preceded in death by her husband Bassillio Fuerte in 1993. She is survived by her son & daughter-in-law Jim & Nancy Como, Laguna Niguel, CA; daughters & sons-in-law Marie & Bob Landstrom, Fallbrook, CA, Annette & Tim Hardy, Culver City, CA, and Joanne & Norman Feldner, Pacific Palisades, CA; brother & sister-in-law Joe & Ann Mazzoco, West Los Angeles, CA; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Cryptside services were held on March 16, 2005, at Holy Cross Cemetery, Culver City, CA, with Rev. Kevin Retting officiating. The family suggests memorial donations to the American Cancer Society, 2655 Camino Del Rio N. Ste. #100, San Diego, CA 92108. Berry-Bell & Hall Fallbrook Mortuary handled the arrangements.
