Talent followed by more talent

The annual talent show at Sullivan was an outstanding act by all of its performers! The stage was bursting with talent as the participants performed for the school last Friday, May 27. The students all enjoyed the assembly, and the actors and actresses involved in it all had a blast working hard during practice and during the show.

Career Day was on Tuesday here at Sullivan. Students had the chance to attend three different classes all about different occupations, some of which were a veterinarian, a firefighter, a sales representative and many, many more. We would like to thank all the presenters for doing an excellent job and volunteering their time.

Yesterday, sixth and seventh grade students took part in Portfolio Day. All through the year, they have been collecting projects they have created and choosing the ones they like the most. The students then presented their finest work to both parents and community members. They were then given grades on their presentations. Much thanks to the people who volunteered their time toward the event!

On the 20th, the band performed their spring concert. They performed songs such as “Pirates of the Caribbean,” “In the Mood” and “Cool Cat Shuffle.” There were also some great soloists and group performances such as “Stormy Weather” by Frankie Westall and Daniel Lusher, while Taylor Bashara, Justin Ellis and Josh Weber performed two songs by AC/DC. The show was outstanding from both the Accelerated and Concert Bands.
