Scoma named team MVP at girls lacrosse banquet

Angie Scoma was named the most valuable player of the Fallbrook High School varsity girls lacrosse team during the girls lacrosse awards banquet June 1 at Zion Lutheran Church.

Scoma, a senior attacker, set a school record with 51 goals during the 2006 season. She was also selected to the North County Conference second team and was named as an academic All-American by US Lacrosse.

“Angie’s just a great leader. She’s a leader on the field; she was just an incredible presence on our attack,” said Fallbrook varsity lacrosse coach Linda Cook.
