The Democrats are skipping class

Don’t be misled with conspiracies and inadequate, picayune arguments. When all is stripped away – “I hate Bush!” is all that matters with this bunch. Consider the results of a Republican-controlled government

• Economy – Recovery from Clinton-era tech bubble and corporate greed and corruption. Even now, corporate officers are being sentenced and sent to prison. Results:

o Low unemployment

o Highest home ownership – including dramatic increases for minorities

o Deficit spending lower than average in the ’80s and ’90s

o Massive new Medi-care program

• War – Ignored for over a decade, resulting in brazen 9/11 attacks and warnings of more to come with celebrations in Muslim countries around the world stopped this country cold for nearly four weeks. Results:

o Democracy in Afghanistan, where not even a war could be won, according to Liberals and the media.

o Democracy in Iraq, where not even a war could be won (remember scares about 10,000 body bags in just one week), according to Liberals and the media.

• Abortions – Concern by Liberals for the lives of our soldiers seems like a smokescreen when their concern for human life does not encompass the unborn. Remember abstinence and choosing life was not supposed to work when the abortion rate was one in three? Results:

o Now abortions are only one in four thousand lives – disproportionately minorities!

• Security – If only one to five percent of the Muslim population is radical, that’s 15 to 75 million people who want to kill us. Results:

o For five years they have had no success while countries around the world are attacked. Remember, Liberals say the US is the most hated country!

Sure, we can always improve a “C” or a “B” to an “A,” but the Democrats are skipping class. Should we trust them to earn even a “C” when our lives and prosperity are in the balance?
