Celebrate New Year's Eve right here in Fallbrook!

Several area restaurants are listing special items on their menus and others are adding entertainment to their New Year’s Eve offerings. The following is a list of information the Village News has received regarding our local New Year’s Eve celebrations. Please call the establishment for dinner prices and reservations.

Brother’s Bistro

Brother’s Bistro will have two seatings for the “prix fixe” dinner, one at approximately 6:30 p.m. and one at approximately 8:30 p.m. A four-course dinner will be served with the main course a choice of Filet Mignon, Swordfish Steak with Shitake Mushroom Sauce or Lobster Tail with Scallop and Shrimp. A choice of appetizers such as Tequila and Lime Marinated Pork Loin Appetizer will start the meal and the soup/salad course will be a choice of several items.

As an added bonus to commemorate the evening the staff will take photographs of your party and then send them to you in frames.

Café des Artistes

It is being billed as: Wine, Dine and Dance. Guests to the restaurant with a Mediterranean flair, Café des Artistes, will enjoy dancing in the main dining room and dinner in the private dining salon. Jarry Presko will play the violin and guitar and Larry Robinson will strum the guitar and sing.

There will be two seatings for the “prix fixe” dinner: 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Guests will enjoy a delicious dinner, which includes dessert and a choice of champagne or wine.

Garden Center Café

The Garden Center Café will be offering a special dinner menu with an accompanying glass of champagne for New Year’s Eve from 4:30 to 9:00 p.m. Reservations are required. The entrées available for the evening include a choice of Prime Rib and Lobster, Beef Wellington, Stuffed Salmon, Chicken Piccata and Prime Rib.

Hukilau Restaurant

Located at the Fallbrook Golf Club, Hukilau is offering a Children’s Play Room during their New Year’s Eve festivities, which will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. A live DJ will provide entertainment starting at 8:30 p.m. Reservations are required. Party favors and a midnight champagne toast will be included in the price. An entrée buffet will be offered which includes Prime Rib, fish, chicken and turkey. Plated salad and desserts will be served.

Rio Rico

Rio Rico is offering a special New Year’s Eve meal from 4 to 8 p.m., which includes a main entrée buffet of Baby Back Ribs with Carnitas, Salmon Chipotle, and Seafood Enchiladas as well as an assortment of side dishes and a glass of champagne. Dessert will be a choice of Flan, Fried Ice Cream or Xango, which is a chimichanga filled with crème cheese and bananas.

San Luis Rey Downs Sports Grill

The Sports Grill at San Luis Rey Downs Golf and Country Club is serving dinner from 5:00 p.m. with a champagne toast at midnight. Reservations are recommended. Guests will have a choice of three entrée items: Prime Rib, Grilled Mahi Mahi or Chicken Marsala. All dinners also include soup, salad, potato or rice, rolls, dessert and coffee.

For entertainment, karaoke will be available all evening.

Trupiano’s Italian Bistro

Guests at Trupiano’s Italian Bistro will be given a choice of ordering from the regular menu as well as from a special New Year’s Eve menu. Champagne will be included. Dinner will be served until 10:00 p.m. with a singer and pianist providing the entertainment.
