Scholarships offered by NCL

FALLBROOK — Applications are now available in the Career Center of Fallbrook High School to college-bound Fallbrook High graduating senior girls. This year the National Charity League (NCL) is pleased to offer five scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each. The awards are based on grade point average, SAT/ACT scores, school and community activities including work, financial need, personal recommendation, essay and interview with the scholarship committee. One of the scholarships will be the Ann Daniel Memorial Scholarship, which goes to the girl whose commitment to community service surpasses the other applicants. Deadline to turn in the completed application is April 19.

National Charity League, Inc. is a nonprofit organization composed of Patroness and Ticktocker groups, organized to initiate and encourage charitable endeavors and to foster the mother-daughter relationship in philanthropic, cultural and social training.
