Convenient online services promoted by post offices

The US Postal Service has one of the more popular Internet sites in the world, accessed by customers more than one million times a day. Just about anything one can do at a post office can be done at the award-winning Web site http://www.usps.com.

Nevertheless, more than 7.5 million people still visit post offices each day. Much as the postal workers appreciate the business, they know that many of their customers could save precious time and money if they “skip the trip” and log on to the Web site.

Next week, as post offices host USPS.com Week, the Bonsall and Fallbrook post offices will be featuring computer demonstrations of the site, offering helpful handouts and making appointments for on-site help, if requested. Refreshments will be available as well. The postmasters want to make sure the people of Fallbrook and Bonsall know that by using the quick, easy, convenient online services, they can buy postage, order supplies, ship and track packages and manage their mail without ever leaving their homes or offices.

Everyone is invited to stop by for some fun at Fallbrook Post Office on Monday, March 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Bonsall Post Office on Tuesday, March 13, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
