'Octopus' creates fire hazard

A dangerous form of “octopus” is creating a fire hazard in the area, according to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection. It is often found in the kitchen, bedroom and living room. The “octopus,” not of the seafaring variety, is probably in many homes right now. When three or four electrical cords are plugged into a single outlet, it is known as an “octopus.” Be fire-safe, not sorry!
