DBE raises funds with fashion show

Eleven models from the Daughters of the British Empire’s (DBE) Excalibur Chapter strutted their stuff wearing the latest fashions from Donna’s Unique Boutique on October 10 at Vista Valley Country Club.

The chapter members and friends who attended the luncheon made it a very successful fundraiser thanks to the post-show shopping frenzy for clothes, jewelry and raffle tickets. Throughout the event, Bob Freaney graciously provided music befitting the occasion.

Donna Reisbeck-Stoewer donates 15 percent of all purchases to nonprofit organizations interested in holding a fashion show. Proceeds from DBE fundraisers help support the British Retirement Home in Sierra Madre and Fallbrook charities.
