Pala Fitness Center open for public use

Hidden down a rugged mountain road toward Pala Reservation sits a state-of-the-art fitness center. Newly opened, Pala Fitness Center offers nearly 20 pieces of cardio equipment, dual-pivoting weight machines, various free weights and personal trainers to help members achieve their fitness goals, all for a low membership fee.

The center also has indoor basketball and volleyball courts which can host regulation tournaments. Manager Bruce Guachino is excited about the center, saying, “We’re starting up an adult volleyball league, which will play every Wednesday at 6 p.m.”

Pala Fitness Center is located at 12194 Pala Mission Road and is open weekdays from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. and weekends from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
