Film Festival this weekend

FALLBROOK- More than 50 independent filmmakers are expected to attend Fallbrook’s first film festival April 25-27. The event will be captured for future episodes of “Life in California,” (Sundays, 8 p.m., Channel 12 Time Warner).

More than 80 films are being shown in four venues. A special screening of films made by Fallbrook High School students will be Sunday, April 27, at noon at the Mission Theater.

A Lifetime Achievement will be presented to cinematographer and former North County resident Tom Del Ruth, who worked on Clint Eastwood’s “Outlaw Josie Wales,” “Stand By Me,...
