Bloodmobile coming to Fallbrook

The San Diego Blood Bank Bloodmobile will be at the Fallbrook Community Center on Thursday, June 12, from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. The blood drive, one of four hosted by Fallbrook Hospital Auxiliary each year, is open to the public.

Participants may join the San Diego Blood Bank’s Donor Difference program, which includes access to an online store for donors and the ability to track cholesterol, pulse and blood pressure after each donation.

Anyone who is at least 17 years old, in good health and weighs at least 100 pounds may be eligible to give blood. A good meal is recommended prior to donation.

To make an appointment, call the San Diego Blood Bank at (800) 4-MY-SDBB. Previous local donors will receive reminder calls from members of the Hospital Auxiliary. Fruit juices and cookies will be served to those who donate blood.
