Opening Day Sept. 6 for AYFC football, cheer

FALLBROOK — On September 6, the AYFC (American Youth Football and Cheer) Fallbrook Warriors will celebrate their inaugural season with an Opening Day celebration and a day of great football games, good food and a community Red Cross blood drive.

Members of the Fallbrook community are invited to join in the celebration and watch their future Fallbrook High School Warriors play and cheer.

Jill Crosswhite, president of Fallbrook AYFC, explained, “We are all about embracing our community and giving back to our community. We want to thank all those who are supporting us and one way we can do that is to invite them to come enjoy some good family entertainment and fun.”

The event will begin at 9 a.m. with games starting at 10 and continuing throughout the day. The Red Cross will have two buses in the high school parking lots and will be rewarding donors with coupons for free soda, Gatorade or water at the concession stand.

For more information on Fallbrook AYFC, the Opening Day events or how to register to donate blood, call Linda Mangold at (760) 728-4293 or e-mail [email protected].
