The Fallbrook Land Conservancy will sponsor a presentation at 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 30, by Professor Phil Pryde.
The presentation is entitled “Some Straight Talk on San Diego County’s Water Future.”
Dr. Pryde, who is professor emeritus at San Diego State University, taught courses in environmental policy for 32 years, focusing especially on water and energy resources, land use planning and environmental impact analysis.
His talk will cover reasons for the current water situation, the role of global climate change and options for responding to the problem. He will be available to sign copies of his popular historical and regional reference book “San Diego: An Introduction to the Region.”
The presentation will take place at Fallbrook Public Utility District, 990 East Mission Road, Fallbrook.
