Cesmat to perform at Fallbrook's Writers Read

FALLBROOK — Fallbrook’s Writers Read will present spoken word artist Brandon Cesmat, who will perform his poetry and prose on Wednesday, Dec. 8, at 6 p.m., at the Café des Artistes.

Cesmat teaches writing and film studies at California State University San Marcos. He also serves on the advisory board of California Poets in the Schools (CPITS), the largest artist-residency program in the United States.

Cesmat’s reading will be followed by open mic for poetry and prose. Entrance to the Café is from the rear parking lot behind the Fallbrook Art Center. The Café opens at 5:30 p.m. with a special supper menu available. The reading begins at 6 p.m.

Coming January 9 through 14, the Friends of the Fallbrook Library and Fallbrook’s Writers Read are pleased to offer a weeklong author series in celebration of the opening of the town’s new county library.
