Republican Women helping wishes come true

FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Republican Women will be celebrating Christmas with the true spirit of giving at their Dec. 10 brunch at 9:30 a.m. at San Luis Rey Downs Golf Resort, 31474 Golf Club Drive in Bonsall. Members are asked to bring an item from the Wish List of Operation Bigs, a Big Brothers and Big Sisters program specifically designed for children of active military.

Bonnie Campbell, who spoke at the club’s Military Appreciation Night last June, will give an update on the program at Camp Pendleton. This is an opportunity to support the military where it matters most, with their children. The Wish List includes balls and sports equipment, board and other games, arts and crafts supplies, bubbles, jump ropes and AA batteries.
