FALLBROOK - On Wed., Jan. 4, vocal students in grades seven and eight at Potter Jr. High School were treated to a surprise visit by Britt Doehring, a local singer/songwriter.
Along with performing a variety of songs for the students, including an original composition, Doehring talked about the songwriting process. She also showed the students her webpage
(www.brittdoehring.com) where she has a calendar of appearances and samples of her latest album “Emerge,” which can also be found on iTunes.
Doehring is presently attending Point Loma Nazarene University where she is studying music. She will be appearing at the Aquaterra Restaurant at Pala Mesa Resort on Jan. 20 and 21.
The music program at Potter Junior High School is under the direction of Phil Leonelli.
