VFW Ladies assist with military baby shower

FALLBROOK – Fallbrook VFW Post 1924 Ladies Auxiliary recently donated $500 to Operation Showers of Appreciation for a baby shower for 27 new and expectant mothers who have deployed partners or are active duty servicewomen themselves. All military branches of the service were invited to attend the shower on Feb. 25 and 29 babies were in attendance.
Anyone who would like to donate to the next baby shower can drop off items at the VFW, 1175 Old Stage Road, from noon until 7:30 p.m. Items requested include diapers, baby shampoo, bottles, teething items, bath tubs, wash cloths, clothing,...
