FALLBROOK – This year, the Rotary Club of Fallbrook is recognizing students of the month at a different school in the Fallbrook Union Elementary School District each time. For the month of December, students from La Paloma Elementary School were recognized.
La Paloma Elementary School principal Julie Schlueter presented Alexa Caldwell, sixth grade, and Delonte Hillery, first grade as the honorees.
Caldwell was recognized for "practicing the habit of "synergize." She encourages her classmates to succeed, which enhances the success of the whole class, Schlueter said. "She speaks with confidence and grace."
Hillery was praised for "being proactive. He enjoys helping others and welcomes guests to his classroom with confidence and knowledge."
