Zion Boy Scouts hold Court of Honor

FALLBROOK – Zion Lutheran Church and School’s Boy Scout Troop 739 held its Court of Honor on Dec. 14, at Zion Fellowship Center. Over 100 Scouts, adult leaders, and their family members were served dinner cooked by the Scouts taking their cooking merit badge.

Scouts were also awarded over 35 rank advancements or merit badges during the Court of Honor. Additionally two Scouts, Zack Schroeder and Elijha Zepeda, were honored for becoming Troop 739’s 13^th and 14^th Scouts to achieve their Eagle Scout Rank, an great accomplishment and honor very few Boy Scouts ever achieve.

Boy Scout Troop 739 meets on Mondays at 6:30 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church’s Fellowship Center and anyone interested in scouting is invited to visit. Also see www.fallbrooktroop739.org/ for more information.
