5K Fun Run and Walk to support mental and physical health in the community

VISTA – North County San Diego-based Vista Community Clinic is holding its fourth annual 5K Fun Run and Walk Sunday, June 12 at a new location – Brengle Terrace Park in Vista. The new course is scenic and has plenty of areas to explore. All ages are welcome and this family-friendly event allows each participant to set their own pace. So bring your kids, neighbors, or furry friends and join us to support a great cause.

VCC is hoping to reach residents from all around San Diego County to participate, as they work together to ensure the health of area communities and support each other. With the psychological impacts of COVID-19 still being felt this event hopes to raise mental health awareness by providing support, education, and access to the community.

Registration is now open and can be accessed by visiting the 5K page at http://www.vistacommunityclinic.org/vcc5k/. The registration fee is $12 per participant.

Attendees can arrive for check-in between 7 and 10 a.m. on the day of. Once they finish, the VCC team will have swag, continental breakfast snacks, and more information on the clinic’s mental and physical health services. With Gatorade as a sponsor, 100% of funds raised will be donated to VCC and will directly benefit the mental health of our local patients, regardless of income or insurance status.
