New presenters show up for Arts in the Park

FALLBROOK – On Sunday, April 30, Arts in the Park once again filled up Live Oak Park. Rally for Children and the Fallbrook Union Elementary School District, along with all of their community partners, presented the entire community with a wonderful free fun day of arts, crafts, live music, reptiles and magic.

They had 12 more activities than last year; several of the newcomers were Wild Wonders, Inc. wildlife interactive shows, San Diego County Rangers small raptor exhibit, Wings of Change butterfly craft and the Fallbrook Union Elementary's Lunar Landers, the Magic of Science and Pom Pom Cannons. Many of the dedicated return organizations were also at the park providing the children with endless craft activities.

Attendees were treated with performances on the stage from the Dancing Cloud Singers, Potter Jr. High's Folklorico Dancers, 'NVoice Studios and Neighbor Tones/Glee Club, and the Westwind Brass, which was sponsored by the Fallbrook Music Society.

Families enjoyed food from the Fallbrook Village Rotary, who were busy cooking hamburgers and hot dogs, the Yogurt Palace with their delicious frozen yogurt, and Rally for Children who had Little Caesars Pizza.

"Once again, the enthusiasm from our community families was over the top. The joy we all got to share with being together and creating magical art pieces with paints, glue, clay, rocks, bamboo and yarn was absolutely wonderful. We want to thank all the families and volunteers who helped to create the most wonderful day," said Pat Dales of Rally for Children.
