Fallbrook VFW Post 1924 honored

Members of the VFW posts and groups recognized as most productive in the 2012 Christmas Toys for Tots Drive are, from left, Cheryl Perez (Post 1207), Virgil Whitehead (Post 1207), Major Craig Dupill (4th Tanks Exec. SAN DIEGO - The Marine Corps’ Reserves 4th Tank Battalion, stationed at the Miramar Marine Corps Air Base, and responsible for all Toys-for-Tots activity in San Diego County, honored Fallbrook’s VFW Post 1924, at a ceremony in the officer’s club aboard the air base on Feb. 5.

Post 1924, in a joint effort with the Marine Corps League’s Colonel Mitchell Paige, Medal of Honor Detachment 1207, captured high honors along with the San Diego Chargers Football Team as the most productive entities in the 2012 Christmas Toys for Tots Drive.
