Young artists impressive at Sullivan

BONSALL — Several young artists, students at Sullivan Middle School in Bonsall, produced some outstanding posters to promote reading during the school’s fourth annual Library Art Contest.

School Librarian Diane Kennedy, the event organizer, said the entries could be any size and use any medium but had to have an image of a book and the word READ in it. Students voted for their favorite entry, and Sullivan teachers Miss Gregg, Mrs. Burgener and Mrs. Best juried the entries anonymously using a point system and also chose their favorite entry.
