Learn more about identity theft

FALLBROOK — The Fallbrook Citizen’s Crime Prevention/Neighborhood Rehab Committee’s meeting will be on October 24 at Zion Lutheran Church, 1405 East Fallbrook Street, from 7 to 9 p.m.

Terry Jensen, San Diego County District Attorney’s Investigator and Commander of CATCH (Computer and Technology Crime High-Tech Response Team) will address measures to protect oneself, as well as the community, against identity theft and computer fraud. At the public’s request, Commander Jensen was brought back to give the community more valuable information on how to guard against these types of criminals. (Case in point: an individual was arrested this year in Escondido with the IDs of 50 people from Fallbrook.)

Also, an FBI Special Agent will discuss “The Role of the FBI in Fallbrook, Bonsall and Rainbow.” Concerned citizens are encouraged to attend this meeting.
