Caregivers can learn about fall prevention

Southern Caregiver Resource Center together with Fallbrook Healthcare Foundation will present a free conference for family caregivers on the topic of fall prevention.

Joanne Price, Fall Prevention Committee Chairperson for Aging and Independence Services Health Promotions Fall Task Force, will be the featured speaker on Thursday, October 26, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Fallbrook Adult Day Care Center, a program of Fallbrook Healthcare Foundation, located at 320 West Alvarado Street in Fallbrook. The presentation will include information for participants to take home on all topics covered during the informative program, including a medication management form, home fall risk assessment, medical alert information, useful tips on home safety, balance and exercise information, Aging and Independence Services assistance information and other resources.
