Member surprised with Rotary's highest honor

During a recent meeting of the Bonsall Rotary, Immediate Past-President Regina Grevatt – also the club’s luau chair, central clearing person for the annual Wine and Food Festival and manager of Branson Travel – was designated a Paul Harris Fellow. A substantial contribution was made to the Rotary Foundation in Grevatt’s name in order to honor her in such a way.

The Rotary Foundation is dedicated to promoting world peace and understanding through relieving the causes of world suffering, such as polio, aids and malaria, through inoculating children and providing education, clean water and healthy sources of food. Nearly $1 million and countless volunteer hours are spent each year for the above and many more projects.

As a Paul Harris Fellow, Grevatt received a special lapel pin, a medallion and a special bound certificate from Rotary International recognizing her service to Bonsall Rotary, the citizens of Fallbrook and Bonsall, her contribution toward the eradication of polio worldwide and to Rotary International.

“[Regina’s] willingness to go the extra mile and work behind the scenes are a perfect example of what it takes to make Bonsall Rotary recognized as such a successful club and why is so well respected in the district,” stated Club President Brent McFarland.
