Band will help celebrate America's birthday

FALLBROOK — The Fallbrook Beautification Alliance has booked the Nitro Express Band to play at the upcoming 4th of July event at the Grand Tradition. The band has been playing consistently in Southern California for 10 years and has gained a reputation for quality, versatility, and being the hardest working band in the area. They average about 200 performances a year at various casinos, private events, theme parks and summer concerts.

Nitro Express usually plays at Magic Mountain on July 4th but the F.B.A. convinced them to play closer to home this year, according to band leader Jim Pulsiser.

“We are really excited to celebrate America’s birthday in Fallbrook,” said Pulsiser. “We want to remember our troops fighting overseas and in harm’s way, and at the same time, celebrate our country’s freedom.”

CMT TV recently contacted Nitro Express regarding a new theme song for the country station. Patrick Nitro is now the lead singer for that theme song on the hit TV show, “Trick My Truck,” replacing Tim McGraw.

Though typically billed as a country band, Nitro Express has influences ranging from classic rock, blues, bluegrass, R&B, surf music, Motown, and even some reggae. The band will play something for everyone at the July 4th event. With four strong singers, superb harmonies, virtuoso musicianship, it’s an act you won’t want to miss.

Tickets will be on sale in front of Major Market and Albertsons from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on June 8-9, 15-16, and 22-23. For additional info, or to purchase tickets online, go to: http://www.fallbrookbeautification.org.
